Review of Fulll Papers Still under Progress
The Full Papers submitted during the conference are still under review process. We have received so many Full Papers than we expected, which is the reason why the review process is taking such a long time. Please wait for your receiving the result.
Notice about e-mail from NDT.net
Some authors seem to receive an e-mail from NDT.net requesting the authors for their permission to publish the proceedings of NDE 2009 Yokohama. This e-mail is relative to a conference different from APCNDT 2009. To our knowledge, there is no conference named NDE 2009 Yokohama. Please do not reply to the e-mail from NDT.net if you have not joined NDE 2009 Yokohama.

Tentative Schedule & Program Revised
Tentative Schedule and Program have been revised. In this revision, candidates of chairpersons of all oral sessions are indicated. All authors are requested to examine if they or their coauthors are assigned to any oral session as a chairperson.
Please understand that it is not clear for the time being who is going to attend the conference among the coauthors of each presentation. Therefore, the Executive Committee selected the candidates from all coauthors of all oral presentations. Also understand that the Executive Committee is unable to make contact with all candidates individually during the short period.

Notice about Submission of Full Paper
The Executive Committee is now preparing instruction for submitting Full Paper in APCNDT 2009. The Full Paper should be submitted to JSNDI during November 9 to 13, 2009 at the Conference Site. Full Papers will be reviewed and edited by JSNDI for a special issue of Materials Transactions. Please do not contact Japan Institute of Metals (JIM, publisher of Materials Transactions) to ask for the instruction for submitting Full Paper in APCNDT 2009.
Also please do not submit your Full Paper directly to JIM. If you submit your Full Paper to JIM, your paper will be received and reviewed as a normal paper by JIM and will not be considered as a Full Paper in APCNDT 2009.

Submission of Extended-Abstract Closed
Submission of Extended-Abstract for presentation in APCNDT 2009 has been closed. We received about 205 Extended-Abstracts. The executive committee will arrange Conference Program ASAP.
Early Registration at a Discount Rate Closed
Online registration for participation and hotel reservation at a Normal Rate will be available by October 15, 2009.

Final Request for Submission of Extended-Abstract
Authors of Short-Abstract accepted for presentation are requested to submit their Extended-Abstract by 23:59 (JST) on September 15. Otherwise, the Executive Committee will remove the corresponding presentation from Conference Program without notice. This is because we would like to fix the program ASAP. Note that this is the final request for the authors.

We have received several inquiries about e-mail notification of acceptance that had been sent on July 8, 2009. We confirmed that all e-mails had been transmitted successfully from the SMTP server at Conference Secretariat. However, several colleagues claim that they did not receive the e-mail notification of acceptance. Please check the following list of accepted presentations.

Submission of Extended-Abstract Opened
The on-line system for receiving Extended-Abstract has been opened. Please submit your Extended-Abstract by August 31 following the instructions. Note that all you can do is to submit the Extended-Abstract and that you cannot alter the information that you had already registered.

Notification of Acceptance Sent
Notification of acceptance of Short-Abstract has been sent to 246 authors by e-mail. Authors are requested to submit their Extended-Abstracts by August 31 through the Conference Web Site. However, we apologize that the submission system is not running yet. Please wait for a few days.
In addition, we recognize that five e-mails sent to No. 1799, 1809, 2111, 2364 and 2388 have returned. Authors of these Short-Abstracts are kindly requested to contact Conference Secretariat.
